I’m improving the Golden Spiral by putting a little more colour into the characters. This means the novelette will be longer. I am going back to the Song at Rainbow’s End. I like the title, though a little long it would appeal to all musical friends. Finding a pot of gold seems a good illustration of a young life set on the right tracks. I shall bring more imagination into this novelette which flows naturally into the Golden Spiral. The first is set in Western Australia and the second in the Scilly Isles a year later. I could add a bit to the epilogue which has a sad twist (that’s life) while the other characters resolve their problems well. The characters in the Song at Rainbow’s End could do with a splash of colour. This goes for the background too.  The Epilogue from (I) could definitely fit at the end of (II).
