A Book with a Scilly Isles background

I’ve been writing this for 6 months now and find that the plot is shaping nicely. I’m writing for young teens who would like a bit of adventure. At the same time the Scilly Isles are reasonably true to their situation in 1981 and again in 1991. No doubt they haven’t changed as fast as the rest of the world. I loved the pristine beaches, the varied interests, the trips to the islands, the bird life and the relaxed attitudess of the yachting world.
The teen novel has 16 chapters at present. The adventures run over St marys, Bryher and Tresco. Hell Bay provides a picture of an Atlantic storm.
The crew consist of Goff, Mary, Howard, Alice and ‘Cub’. They are a carry over of the team from Australia who battled drug addicts and won causing the muso nick-named Cub to be rescued. Now they are back again on the Scilly Isles where they first met mixed up in a battle to ensure the protection of the environment.
There is not much more to be done on this trilogy. Like all writers, I shall miss the characters. They have become my friends. I think its time to get together all the notes i made on our family and my interesting early life. That will keep me busy. Not too busy to write shorter stories.
My uncle, Goff, went down with his ship bring food to us in England when we could have been starving. This why I like to immortalise his memory.
The novel will be finished by the end of June. My printer is very reliable and a great help in publishing.
